The SKS is one of history’s great “good enough” rifles. Cheap, durable, simple, and issued by people who were not especially concerned with your comfort. It worked then, and it still works now, but the original furniture and magazine setup leave a lot on the table.

This chassis fixes that.

The Nikai SKS Chassis gives you better ergonomics, cleaner lines, and support for widely available 10 round XCR-pattern magazines turn the rifle into something less like a Cold War hand-me-down and more like a rifle that actually wants to be used on purpose.

It does not try to erase the SKS. That would be missing the point. The appeal of the platform has always been rugged simplicity and peasant-proof durability. What this chassis does is strip away the awkwardness and let the rifle become a more practical version of itself for the situation we are in here in Canada.

What you get is the fully assembled SKS chassis, the grip and the handguard all made out of durable PA12-CF along with a set of spare parts.
