Questions
Why don't you sell assembled chassis or modify rifles anymore?
Building chassis by hand and modifying customers' rifles took more time than I can give it now, and my personal circumstances have changed. Rather than let the work disappear, I've made the chassis files and the modification guide available so anyone can build and modify their own.
Can you print or build one for me?
No. I no longer make parts or do modifications for others. A local print service or a friend with a capable printer can print the files for you.
Which chassis should I get?
Get the SKS chassis if you want to run XCR-pattern magazines. Get the lightweight chassis if you want to keep the original magazine and skip modifying the rifle.
Do I need to modify my rifle?
Only for XCR magazines. Follow the modification guide. If your rifle already runs a Hi-Cal-style adapter, the chassis drops straight in.
Will it fit my SKS?
It's designed for Russian, Chinese (Type 56 and variants) and Yugoslavian receivers, plus other patterns with the same receiver geometry.
What hardware do I need?
See the parts list. Everything is off-the-shelf.
Why are the files sold on Cults3D?
Cults3D handles payment, downloads and file updates. Revisions are posted to each listing, so check it before printing.
Is this legal where I live?
You're responsible for following the laws that apply to you, including magazine capacity limits. Check before you print, modify or install.
I have a question that's not here.
